Did you know that an eagle knows when a storm is approaching long before it breaks?
The eagle will fly to some high spot and wait for the winds to come. When the storm hits, it sets its wings so that the wind will pick it up and lift it above the storm. While the storm rages below, the eagle is soaring above it.
The eagle does not escape the storm. It simply uses the storm to lift it higher. It rises on the winds that bring the storm.
come upon us - and all of us will experience them - we can rise above them by setting our minds and trust in the Lord. The storms do not have to overcome us. We can allow God's power to lift us above them.
He enables us to ride the winds of the storm that bring sickness, tragedy, failure and disappointment in our lives. We can soar above the storms of our life. He sent his only begotten son, Jesus Christ to show us the way.
Remember, it is not the burdens in life that weigh us down, it is how we handle them. Turn them over to the Lord, let Him be your wings. Do not doubt, have faith, and complete trust...He "will never leave you or forsake you"! Pray & then know that He has heard your cries and is faithful.
YOU ARE NOT ALONE!
What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all-how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. Who is he that condemns: Christ Jesus, who died-more than that, who was raised to life-is at the
and is also interceding for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?
No in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future nor any powers,, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
